Module content | This module focuses on relationships, collaborations and partnerships between the early childhood educators/caregivers and the parents/families/community for the benefit, development, learning and well-being of a child. The module explores Ubuntu as a value and partnerships for working with culturally diverse families and young children within different family structures; strategies for promoting Ubuntu principles with families supporting young children in different ECCE models; working with communities and family in determining their community needs and interests; and effective intervention strategies for working with families, communities and associated resources. |
